The World’s First Underground Music & Art Hybrid Fest took place on PandaMR from May 31 to June 18, 2021.
It featured a concert leg, an art exhibit, and mix album contests. In the frame of PandaMR’s UNDERVR project, the electro-queen Nina Kraviz rocked the virtual space and brought hundreds of streamers to one place. Those who were not able to attend the event watched it via the platform and enjoyed the same atmosphere, because the virtual venue with the stage, acoustics, lighting effects, sound and spirit translated into reality was presented to them as what Nina prepared for the concert.
The next electro, minimal techno, and microhouse music genre guru, Ricardo Villalobos, was LIVE on PandaMR on June 18, who streamed another unparalleled virtual experience.
The participants and visitors mentioned that the vibe of being at a real-life concert was long-craved and that the hybrid event was an amazing substitute for the real thing.
It is amazing what a hybrid platform is really capable of even if it lacks all the organizational and economic resources of a live performance – something that distinguishes it from all other attempts to hold a virtual concert of this scale.
